I’ve been thinking a lot about the choices we make with our money every day—whether it’s deciding to spend, save, or invest. We often like to think of ourselves as savvy, which can make it incredibly difficult to forgive ourselves when we realize we’ve made a mistake. Whether it’s cashing out an investment too early, depleting savings on something unplanned, or dealing with overwhelming debt, I know I’ve certainly been there. I can be very hard on myself when I wish I’d done something differently.

I frequently look to Forbes to stay updated on the financial world, and I recently came across a helpful blog by J.D. Roth titled “How to Cope with Financial Mistakes.” It offered some great perspective on moving forward, and I thought I would share it with you in case you find it as insightful as I did. https://www.forbes.com/sites/moneybuilder/2011/09/14/how-to-cope-with-financial-mistakes/
